MING PAO - Even though Andy Lau and Jacky Cheung are co-stars for the film Gong Wu, the two were gracious to each other at the premiere two nights ago. Andy says Jacky is a very important figure, and Jacky says Andy's presence boosted box office sales. Andy believes his role is only a supporting character. Even if he gets nominated for this performance, it will not be for Best Male Actor. Jacky, Shawn Yu and Edison Chen are the 3 main characters, Andy adds. As a producer, we asked if Andy was nervous about promoting the film: "I don't know about the operational procedures and I let the administrators do it." Jacky laughs that he has no pressure at the box office because "Andy is responsible for the box office, I am only acting in it. He has a good box office track record. In recent years top box office movies all involve Andy, so Andy has the greatest pressure." Recent rumors pointed that Jacky had a fit while recording dialogue for Gong, to which he admitted to getting upset but denied throwing a fit.
